WASHINGTON—October 28, 2008—The Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), the trade association representing hybrid, battery, plug-in, and fuel cell electric drive technologies and infrastructure, will host its annual conference, exposition, and Ride & Drive at the Washington Convention Center from December 2-4, 2008. 

 

“The EDTA Conference is the premiere advanced transportation and policy event of the year,” says EDTA President Brian Wynne.  “Reducing oil dependence is one of the first challenges the new Administration and Congress will face.  This conference will identify the technologies and policies that are critical to electrifying the transportation sector for increasing national security, improving the environment, and building a green-jobs economy.”
